We pride ourselves in the conversions we complete on all our vehicles, and especially the Mustang. We threw out the original firewall complete with its unfinished lines, silicon joiner and dodgy appearance and spent countless hours making a mould for our injected firewall panels. The engine is removed with great care, the panels are installed, battery relocated to the boot and the engine bay cops a new coat of paint to make it like it should have been from factory.
Inside the mustang you will find all panels line up perfectly due to our own injected dashboard. The dashboards pull from the mould perfect everytime and with zero shinkage. That means all the other parts we manufacture or use from the original LHD dash fit perfectly time after time.
We made our own vacuum skinning machine in order to keep quality high and production fast. Each dashboard in a mustang has had the skill and passion applied to it from the best people in their trade.
Shogun takes great pride in our work and every car is treated with the greatest care. At all times the cars are kept indoors under a car cover, all parts are removed and individually plastic wrapped before being labelled and boxed ready for re-fitment after the job is complete.
The vast differences in requirements for American and Australian cars make it challenging for us to keep the factory exterior look of the mustang all the while complying with our strict regulations. We endeavor to provide a car that looks as close to factory as possible with all our lighting modifications from front position lamps to orange rear indicators.
The Ford Mustang built from 2005 – current can be converted by us. The electric steering rack equipped vehicles (+2011 models) incur an extra cost. Please Contact Us for more pricing details.
The Mustang is sold in many variants and as long as they are factory built vehicles we are allowed to import them for Australian compliance. Roush, Saleen, Shelby and Supersnake all have factory built vehicles but also have aftermarket kits available to place on your standard Mustang. Aftermarket modified vehicles are not acceptable for compliance unless they are converted back to standard. Please contact us if you are unsure.
* = 2011 built vehicles are equipped with the EPAS (Electronic Power Assisted Steering) rack and will incur an additional fee.
